Direct Support Worker

Works one-on-one with individuals with disabilities providing services and supports in the individual's home and community. Assists participants to lead self-directed lives, assists with daily living activities, and encourages community exploration and inclusion. Various hours/shifts.

Employment Support Worker

Works one-on-one with individuals with disabilities assisting them in exploring potential job opportunities, writing resumes, practicing interviewing and job skills, and assisting them in achieving their employment goals.  Includes discovery, career planning, and job coaching. Training and support provided. Various hours/shifts.

Residential Support Specialist

The Residential Support Specialist (RSS) provides support and assistance to tenants with developmental disabilities living in our Group Home in Captain Cook to live their lives to the fullest and as independently as possible. The RSS teaches, mentors, supports, and assists each tenant in a way that honors and respects their own preferences, choices, and needs. Available schedule: Monday thru Thursday overnight shift or weekend shift. As a RSS, your work will be rewarding and vital to the overall success of our tenants and the organization.

Employment Specialist

The Employment Specialist will support and assist individuals with disabilities to find and maintain meaningful jobs in the community that meet their individual vocational goals. The successful candidate will mainly work with clients living in the North Hawai’i and/or North Kona areas of Hawai’i Island. The successful candidate will provide pre-employment transitions services, job development, job placement, and job coaching. Experience in the field of disabilities and working with employers in the local business community is preferred. Must have excellent communication skills, interpersonal/people skills, critical thinking skills, ability to network and build relationships and partnerships, ability to work independently and as a team, and ability to analyze data and compile information for reports.

Adult Day Health Direct Support Worker

An Adult Day Health Direct Support Professional (ADH DSP) works with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities providing services and supports in a group setting both at the agency and in the community. The ADH DSP supports and assists participants in leading self-directed lives, learning daily living activities, and encourages and provides opportunities for increasing choices, community learning, exploration, and inclusion.
