A Day of Lokahi
Come and join us at this event, Waimea + Maui, United in Aloha: A Day of Lōkahi, a tribute to the Maui Wildfire community and a celebration of Hawaiian culture as our communities work towards recovery. The event aims to provide support and pay tribute to those lost, as well as offer hope and assistance to those in need. It will be a free community event held in the Parker Ranch Center Food Court. Everyone is invited to come and talk story, take part in games and cultural activities, and even have the chance to win prizes. HIUW will be accepting monetary and physical donations (such as AC units, gas cards, and food cards). All donations will be sent to Maui United Way to help those in need on Maui.

Surf and Turf Fundraiser
A fundraiser brought to you by West Hawaii Association of Realtors (WHAR) and FORC Restaurant in Waimea. $50 per ticket, by reservation only during the week of 7/7 - 7/13. On the menu is Kalbi Braised Short Ribs, Korean Crusted Ahi Sashimi, Mashed Potatoes & Seasonal Veggies. Tickets can be purchased at the WHAR office —> (808) 329-4874.
King Kamehameha's Inclusive Canoe Race
The 3rd Annual Inclusive canoe race for paddlers of all experiences and ability levels will be held on Sunday June 2, 2024 from 10:00am-4:00pm on the Hilo Bayfront Beach.
Kohala High School Informational Night
The Arc of Kona is hosting our next information night at Kohala High School on Tuesday, May 21st at 5:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the school library. We will be providing information to students with disabilities, their parents, and teachers about the services we provide. Light snacks will be provided. Hope to see you there!

Paint & Pupu's
Join this Arc of Kona sponsored event at Ko Education Center in Honoka’a, Hawai’i Island from 5:00-8:00pm. Paint and Pupu’s is a free event open to all community members to learn about the Ka’ao model while painting and enjoying ‘ono pupu’s. RSVP required to attend.

Waikoloa Charity Walk
The Charity Walk, founded in 1974 and expanded statewide in 1978, is now Hawai‘i’s largest single-day fundraising event by a non-profit organization. Since 1980, Hawaiʻi Island has raised more than $5.7 million to support hundreds of diverse non-profit organizations on the island. The public is always invited to participate in this annual event which typically features a morning of delicious food, fun, fabulous entertainment, and a little exercise to help charities within our community.
Hele for Autism Walk and Resource Fair
Hele for Autism Walk and Resource Fair is the Autism Society of Hawaii's annual walk to raise money for the programs that they provide for families. It will take place at Wailoa River State Park in Hilo. Registration begins at 9:00 am with the walk at 9:30am and the resource fair after the walk. There will be live entertainment, games, and a wealth of information about Autism, what services are available and more! Come check out The Arc of Kona booth at the resource fair!
